Run 4 Their Lives 2021
“We run so that exploitation is never a part of their story.”
Who Will You Raise Your Arm For?
Our Run 4 Their Lives race series is in full motion! Each year, we hold our own 5k race series, Run 4 Their Lives, in cities across the United States to bring communities together for a family-friendly, hopeful event to increase awareness of human trafficking, share stories of girls who are now rescued and free, and to encourage continued advocacy. Funds raised through this Run 4 Their Lives race are used to support the continued work of our domestic partner organizations in Tennessee, North Carolina, and California.
The Power of Prevention
As we continue to bring freedom and justice by expanding the work of our frontline partners, we cannot forget that the only way to end human trafficking is to prevent it from ever happening in the first place. This race is an opportunity to learn what trafficking looks like in our own cities and protect the youth in our life from exploitation.
You Choose the Name on Your Arm
In past years, we give you the name of a survivor to write on your arm. You have run for girls like Nicole, Natasha, Fa, Priscilla, Anita, and so many more.
This year, we want YOU to pick the name you will write on your arm. In light of prevention, whose story do you want to keep safe from human trafficking and exploitation? Who is your one? Who is the reason behind your motivation to join this fight? It could be a daughter, a niece, a friend, a grandchild, a child in your life who’s parents are out of the picture, a girl whose story you heard at a Freedom 4/24 event in the past and felt compelled to join the fight against human trafficking. Every community member has a role they can actively play in preventing human trafficking from happening in the first place.
This year, we run for THEIR lives. The lives of the youth in our community who are at risk, vulnerable, and susceptible to falling prey to a trafficker.
We run to protect their innocence.
We run to raise awareness and educate our community.
We run so that exploitation is never a part of their story.
