Human trafficking is happening locally; this is how we protect our community and youth.

Hosted by Campbell County Sheriff's Office in partnership with Freedom 4/24

Join us at Brookville High School for Freedom 4/24's Human Trafficking 101 & Equipped Parent Workshop

6:30-9pm, Refreshments provided

This workshop is for parents, guardians, service providers, and community members!

This training clarifies common misconceptions about the various forms of human trafficking, identifies factors that put individuals at risk, and shares data regarding the vulnerabilities targeted by traffickers. By the end of this training, participants will be able to recognize the tactics used by traffickers and respond effectively to help keep their community safe. The second part of the night educates parents, guardians, and community members about the primary challenges facing today's youth, provides crucial online safety information, raises awareness to prevent human trafficking and exploitation, and offers strategies for building connections with your child while helping them establish boundaries to stay safe. It will also take a deeper dive into human trafficking.
