Deborah Hallgren
Bookkeeper
Deborah has been the bookkeeper for Freedom 4/24 since 2013 when she was invited to become part of the team by Sal Ferlise, CFO. Deborah is also the Administrative Director for Sports Outreach Institute, Inc., a partner of Freedom 4/24.
Prior to working with Freedom 4/24 and Sports Outreach, Deborah worked at Liberty University in the Registrar’s Office and Liberty’s online learning program where she worked on the project of moving distance learning course content from paper based to online format. She earned an AA in Multidisciplinary Studies in 2006 from LU.
As a newlywed, Deborah and husband Marty spent a year in South Korea while Marty was in the Army. This opened her eyes to just how big the world was and how people of every nation and tongue need the saving love of Jesus Christ.
Deborah has traveled to Sports Outreach ministry sites and is looking forward to taking her first trip with Freedom 4/24 this December.
In her free time Deborah enjoys spending time with family (husband, Marty; 2 daughters; and 7 grandchildren), reading, traveling, and hiking the Appalachian Trail in Virginia.
